Jonathan began in the early ’90’s marketing music releases for major record labels, managing collegiate sports marketing campaigns, conducting legal services with entertainment law firms and assisting multiple start-up businesses through planning and launch. Later focusing on celebrity philanthropy, Jonathan has led the Allan Houston Legacy Foundation as Executive Director since 2004 and developed strategies with Living Cities to maximize celebrity-related community impact, which have been utilized by numerous pro athletes and entertainers. Jonathan has served as a panelist for the Council on Foundations/Kellogg Foundation, New York Law School, M.I.T. and College Summit. He has awarded funding as a judge for the Association of Enterprise Organizations, Network For Teaching Entrepreneurship and Tulane University and has been an invitee to the Silicon Valley Philanthropy Summit. He also teaches marketing at Baruch’s Zicklin School of Business.
National Tour Director, Father Knows Best & FISLL Curriculum
As the National Tour Director for the Allan Houston Foundation, Miko leads the planning and execution of Father Knows Best, FISLL and other organizational events including Itinerary/Team Management, Partner/Sponsor Relations, Participant Registration, Speaker and Performance Booking, Celebrity and Athlete Participation, Coaches Recruitment and Vendor Procurement. A multifaceted event professional with experience managing various sports and entertainment endeavors, Miko has had the opportunity to work with many high profile athletes and national sports brands. She has led the way on numerous service projects, including the All-Star Fatherhood and Family Panel Discussion with Allan Houston, Pastor Joel Osteen and Dwyane Wade. She holds a B.A. in Policy Studies from Syracuse University.
Fatherhood Initiatives Adviser & Program Facilitator
Thabiti Boone serves as Fatherhood Adviser to Allan Houston and the Allan Houston Legacy Foundation. He also serves as an International Representative for the Omega Psi Phi Fraternity Fatherhood and Mentoring Initiative. Previously, Thabiti served as a NY Theological Seminary Adjunct Professor. He is an influential figure who was honored by President Obama and the White House’s Fatherhood Mentoring Initiative as a “Champion of Change”. He has also been recognized as a CNN World Hero, a Martin Luther King Man of the Year and a member of the college basketball Hall of Fame. He took his daughter to college as a teenage father and former basketball star and sacrificed his dreams of playing in the NBA to successfully raise her. Thabiti has appeared on CNN, MSNBC, BET and has been featured in Essence, Ebony, Source and Vibe magazines. He has been the recipient of many honors and awards.
Tour Director, Father Knows Best
Chantel is a seasoned event professional with over 10 years of experience in event management, marketing and logistical operations. Chantel has been a part of the Allan Houston Legacy Foundation team since 2006. She adds her marketing background, creative eye and project management skills to the Father Knows Best initiative and manages logistics as FKB Tour Director. Chantel has executed distinguished programming for music, sports and fashion clients. During her more than 7 years of event experience with a major sports brand, Chantel traveled and managed events around the country. With experience in product placement, branding and social media, she quickly began managing two of the largest grass-roots programs in the country. Chantel holds a B.A. in Political Science and Business Management from Adelphi University.
Director of Operations, Allan Houston Enterprises
Sonya is the Director of Operations for Allan Houston Enterprises, Inc. and Administrative Coordinator for the Allan Houston Legacy Foundation. For the last decade, she has coordinated the daily activity schedule for Allan Houston. Prior to joining AHE in 2003, Sonya worked as the Executive Administrative Assistant to the late Richard “Dick” Griffey, founder of the L.A. based R&B Record Label Solar Records. In 2000, she joined MGM Pictures, Inc. as Legal Assistant to Sr. Vice President of Legal and Business Affairs – Theatrical. In 1996, she incorporated her expertise in the TV and Film industry as the Legal Assistant and Office Manager for Darrell D. Miller of the Law Offices of Darrell D. Miller, Esq. and Susan C. Adamson, Esq. Recently, she launched her own business, H.E.L.P. Virtual Assistant Services (“Helping to Empower the Lives of Professionals), who are independent contractors who remotely support multiple clients in a variety of industries.
Workshop Instructor / Curriculum Developer, Father Knows Best
After a seven year career in corporate America, Blake was influenced by his pastor, Rev. Bill Lawson at Wheeler Avenue Baptist Church, to turn from climbing the corporate ladder to learning, loving and serving Jesus Christ. Blake has served in Youth Ministry since 1994. He is currently the pastor of Crossover Bible Fellowship in Houston, TX. Additionally, he has been heavily involved in curriculum development for youth and family life ministries and is well known for his class entitled “The Biblical View of Sex”, which he has taught to NBA players of the New York Knicks and San Antonio Spurs. Blake shares his gifts and talents at student camps and retreats with Allan Houston, Charlie Ward and former NBA players. Blake earned his B.A. in Political Science from Southwest Texas State University and his M.A. in Christian Education from Dallas Theological Seminary.
On- Court Basketball Instructor, Father Knows Best
Ivorie Manning is one of the most sought after shooting coaches for the NBA with more than 15 years of basketball experience. He is currently training several current and former NBA players, including Ty Lawson, Rajon Rondo and Jerry Stackhouse. In addition, Ivorie’s coaching experience includes over 10 years of instruction for the world famous Harlem Globetrotters.
Project Coordinator, Father Knows Best & FISLL Curriculum
With over 14 years of corporate and entrepreneurial experience in Event Production and Marketing Consulting with numerous Fortune 500 companies, Tyelise provides event management support for foundation events such as the Father Knows Best (FKB) 5-Boro Tour, AHLF outreach events and fundraiser galas. She is the Project Coordinator for the FISLL program, acting as liaison with community-based organizations, assisting in their selection process, participant recruitment, logistic coordination and management of each program. Tyelise has a B.S and M.S in Organizational Leadership from Mercy College, and is currently pursuing her Doctoral Degree in Human Services at Walden University. In addition, Tyelise heads her own Event Management firm based in NYC.

Michael has extensive senior management experience in the nonprofit sector. Over the past several years he has raised over $6 million dollars for city, state and federal agencies as well as private foundations. Recently, he oversaw the Mature Worker Program as the Senior Director of the National Urban League. Previously, as Senior Program Officer at the D.C. Children and Youth Investment Trust Corporation, he was responsible for the portfolio of workforce development and summer programs in the District of Columbia. Before joining the Trust, he served as the Division Director for Community Schools and Youth Programs at the Educational Alliance, Boys and Girls Club in NYC, where he was responsible for the start-up and delivery of after-school program services at 10 NYC Department of Education schools. Previously, he served as Director of Adolescent Development Programs at the Citizens Advice Bureau in the Bronx. He has taught criminal justice at John Jay and LaGuardia Community College in NYC. He has also taught Global Studies at the Boys and Girls High School in Brooklyn. Michael graduated from the University of Reading, England, with an M.A. in International Relations and Kingston University, England, with a B.A. in Applied Social Science. Michael also completed a Certificate program in NonProfit Management from Columbia University.

Everyone from Tupac to Queen Latifah to Diddy have sported UNK. After 17 years, UNK NBA is still thriving and based in the heart of NYC. You can Now find UNK in over 1,000 stores including Champs, The NBA store and the Sports Arena in your town. Dave also recently created Vio/k Marketing Group, which specializes in connecting companies and charities with people and all of their needs. One of Vio/K Marketing Groups most recent clients is Soledad O’Brien and The Powerful Launch of Starfish Media Group. His company will also be putting on a Golf tournament with NFL great Carl Banks and Current 6th man of the year JR Smith.
